Following its highly regarded inaugural conference, the second European Augmented Reality Marketing Conference will take place on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 in the Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin.
The conference will incorporate the Augmented Reality Business Exchange, offering delegates enhanced business and networking opportunities, across sectors such as FMCG, architecture, retail, gaming and tourism. The workshop format of the event will allow delegates to have the chance to try out the latest in Augmented Reality ( AR ), Virtual Reality ( VR ) and Wearables technologies.
This an excellent opportunity to get “well-armed” from AR experts who are scheduled to fly in from Hong Kong, Los Angeles, San Francisco, The Netherlands, France, UK and elsewhere. Presentations and panel discussions will be considering the effective application of AR to marketing and for building brands.
A new feature of the conference this year is the creation of two dedicated tracks developed for the Enterprise AR and Consumer AR sectors. These tracks will allow more detailed exploration of the technologies and commercial applications of AR and related technologies in sectors such as architecture, retail, gaming and tourism. An AR & VR Expert and Augmented Reality Evangelist, Steve is a regular writer and contributor to media blogs, and a thought-leader in the digital media and Augmented Reality sectors. He is a regular speaker on the subject of AR, VR and new technology at conferences and events. Most recently, he has been responsible for spear-heading Amplified Robot’s drive into Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality and Berwick Post’s move into high end finishing for Film, Television and New Media. Dave Lorenzini, USA, founder of Glassware Foundry, is coming back from the US to join us again in 2015 and update us on new products and projects. Keith Jordan, Ireland, is the founder & CEO of iTagged, a next generation Augmented Reality platform. iTagged uses augmented reality combined with location-based services, image capturing and social sharing to digitize real world experiences. Keith has spent over 20 years working in digital marketing, strategic management and technology futurology. Barry Orr, Ireland, is the Head of PR and Spokesperson for Betfair. From a bookmaking family, as head of PR and Spokesperson for the PLC, he is a constant force in driving brand consideration, awareness and acquisition with a track record for the development and implementation of creative PR strategies. Betfair was founded around its pioneering Betting Exchange, cutting edge technology which enables customers to come together and bet against each other. The company has been pioneers in the use of Google Glass in developing new betting platforms, and are also working on other wearable apps. Eoghan O Sullivan- Founder and CEO of Von Bismark. Eoghan has a B.Sc. in Multimedia from DCU and has built a career in 3D visualisation, image manipulation and interface design.Having previously cofounded digital agency Pixel Lab in 2005 he went on to co-found Tender3D in 2009, a global marketplace for 3D talent in 2009.
Gaia Dempsey – Co-Founder and Managing Director, DAQRI International, Gaia has been a creative force at DAQRI since the beginning, bringing her unique vision and imprint to major DAQRI projects ranging from successful educational initiative Elements 4D, to industrial augmented reality applications for Tier 1 defense contractors. Unorthodox in her approach to thanks to an entrepreneurial background, she is passionate about bringing new products to market and creating win-win scenarios for partners, customers, and investors.
Prior to DAQRI, Gaia began her startup career at Idealab where she brought her social media expertise to the first startup incubator, then went on to co-found interactive and digital marketing firm Demeter Interactive.
